Concert attendance is mandatory for all students registered for choir. Please put performance dates on your calendar.  Work is not an excuse to miss a performance - If you are unable to attend due to a family emergency, or illness, your or a parent/guardian should contact me by phone or email prior to the performance in order for the absence to be excused. An alternative assignment will be given for all excused absences, but unexcused absences will result in a zero.
A concert performance is one of the most valuable experiences our music program can offer a student.  Confidence and self esteem are greatly enhanced by a successful performance.  The most important aspect of teamwork is being there when it really counts and this is a very safe, positive way to experience the act of performing under “pressure” while being surrounded by friends and family. Parents, relatives, and friends are always invited to attend concert
